This cake was created to celebrate the Bar Mitzvahs of twin boys, Zach & Jacob. It featured their replicated tennis rackets along with several tennis balls that went around the cake decorated to look like a tennis court. The chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filled cake was delivered to Slate in NYC.
Hi there! I just wanted to say that this cake has the most realistic looking tennis rackets ive seen! they look fantastic, are the rackets made out of cake? Also if you would be so kind to share what the strings of the rackets are made out of, they really are brilliant.

Thanks Becky! The rackets are entirely made of gumpaste except for the string which were actually spaghetti ;o)
